| Description and Condition: | |||
| Single-sized ground ledger with grey granite obelisk
in western most ledger top. Ledger (121 x 244 cm and 18-20 cm raised off ground) is
broken. Curbing is grey granite and has separated into blocks. The eastern most section
is separated. Ledger top is cement and has broken and collapsed down. The obelisk at
western end has a severe 20-30 degree angle toward the east. Obelisk (east height 1.8 m) is on granite base (72 cm x 74 cm and 33 cm high). 1st block (54 cm x 55 cm and 37 cm height) is granite all sides are rough except for eastern face which is polished and has motif of Dove with branch over log with axe and sledge inscription 'DUM TACET CLAMAT' very faint. Above motif is inscription 'HERE RESTS A WOODMAN OF THE WORLD'. Column is 37.5cm x 39cm and 104 cm in height. Inscription is on eastern face only. | |||
