| Irregular shaped ground ledger (307 x 479 x 240 x
190 x 280 cm) with one white marble plaque, 3 slant-faced markers and one large (east
height 3-4 m) white marble obelisk with pyramid top. Curbing is white marble and raised
16.5 cm off the ground. Along the S section is a white marble step (which is loose) and
2 square marble corner posts the top is broken off (10 cm) on the left post. There are 4
other posts of marble on each corner that are curved in shape. The SE corner post has
broken away from foundations and is loose. It is now tilting inward towards ledger.
There is cement foundations surrounding the ledger that appears intact. There also
appears to be slight warping of N section of curbing. Ledger top is grass filled and is level to outside curbing top level. There is small (26 x 15) white marble plaque set in the SW corner of ledger top facing south. Center of ledger is large obelisk surrounded by 3 grey granite slant-faced markers. The marker on the W side of obelisk is polished grey granite (72.5 x 42) inscription is incised and painted black - no wear angle faces west. The grey granite marker to the south of obelisk is unpolished, inscription is incised and no wear is evident (51 x 31) angle facing south. Marker to the east of obelisk is grey granite (72 x 41.5) is unpolished and faces east. Inscription is incised and no wear is evident. | |||
