| Description and Condition: | |||
| Large ground ledger (489 cm W x 245 cm L) raised
13 - 20 cm off ground with a white marble headstone on ledger top. Curbing is grey granite (12.5 cm border). The W curbing has moved slightly and one section is out 2-3 cm. Ledger top is covered with grass and in center W side is a white marble straight-shouldered tablet-type headstone mounted on gray granite base (51.5 x 26 x 19 cm high) set into cement foundation. Cement foundation appears to be quite recent. Tablet has been cleaned (47.5w x 7.75 thick x 99 cm high). Stone has numerous cracks and chips (especially W side). Inscription 'Foster' the stonemason. Top center of stone (E face) is a weeping willow beside a casket. The top left and right sides of stone have Triguetras formations along with center of top. Stone appears quite stable, clean and level. | |||
