Francis Jones Barnard (1829-1889) - Pioneer entrepreneur, founder of Barnard Express (BX) Stagecoach Company, MP for Yale 1879- 1887, father of Sir Frank S. Barnard. Block H Plot 69 W 28.

Sir Frank Stillman Barnard (1856-1936) - MP for Cariboo 1888-1896, BC Lieutenant-Governor 1914-19, knighted in 1918. Block H Plot 69 W 28.

George Henry Barnard (1868-1954) - MP forVictoria City 1908-1917, Senator 1917-1945, brother of Sir Frank S. Barnard. Block H Plot 69 W 28.

Robert Beaven (1836-1920) - BC Premier 1882-1883, Mayor of Victoria for three terms 1892-1893, 1896. Block B Plot 096/097 W36.

Nellie Cashman (1845-1925) - nurse, entrepreneur, gold prospector, mining expedition leader and philanthropist during the late 1800's and early 1900's. Block U Plot 64 E 51.

Sir Henry Pering Pellew Crease (1823-1905) - Attorney General of the Colony of Vancouver Island 1861-1870, Supreme Court Judge 1870-1895, knighted in 1896. Block B Plot 88b89 W 32.

Lady Sarah Lindley Crease (1826-1922) - Watercolour artist, 12 views of Vancouver Island and the surrounding areas exhibited in England 1862. Block B Plot 89 W 32.

Edward Cridge (1817-1913) - Chaplain to the Hudson's Bay Co. Fort Victoria 1855, began historic Church of Our Lord in Victoria. Block F Plot 23b24 W 20.

Alexander Edmund Batson Davie (1847-1889) - BC Premier 18871889. Older brother of Theodore Davie. Block C Plot 5 W 29

Theodore Davie (1852-1898) - BC Premier 18921895, BC Chief Justice of Supreme Court 1895-1898. Block C Plot 21 W 29.

Amor De Cosmos (1825-1897) - Original name: William Alexander Smith, BC Premier 1872-1874, MP for Victoria 1872-1882. Block A Plot 68 E 32.

Sir Edgar Dewdney (1835-1916) - Builder of the pioneer Dewdney Trail across southern BC 1865. Lieutenant-Governor of the Northwest Territories 1881-1888, BC Lieutenant-Governor 1892-1897. Block T Plot 50 E 45.

Sir James Douglas (1803-1877) - Chief Factor of Hudson's Bay Co. established Fort Victoria 1843, 2nd Governor of Vancouver Island 1851-1863, 1st Governor of BC 1858-1864, Knight Commander of the Bath. Sir James Douglas is considered by many as the founder of Victoria and the "Father of British Columbia." Block H Plot 57b58 E 20.

Lady Amelia (Connolly) Douglas (1812-1890) - one of the founding mothers of BC, one of the best known women in fur trade society. Advisor to her husband James Douglas on First Nations traditions and politics. Block H Plot 57b58 E 20.

James Dunsmuir (1851-1920) - Vancouver Island coal baron, BC Premier 1900-1902, Lieutenant-Governor 1906-1909, constructed Hatley Castle at Hatley Park. Block H Plot 67 E 27.

Robert Dunsmuir (1825-1889) - Vancouver Island coal baron, pioneer industrialist, builder of Craigdarroch Castle in Victoria, father of Hon. James Dunsmuir. Block H Plot 66/67 E & 66/67 W 27.

John Hamilton Gray (1814-1889) - New Brunswick Premier 1856-1857, elected to the House of Commons in the first federal election after Confederation. BC Supreme Court Judge 1873-1889. Block B Plot 101 E 31.

Byron Ingemar Johnson (1890-1964) - MLA 1933, BC Premier 1947-1952. Block T Plot 34 W 36.

Sir Richard McBride (1870-1917) - BC Premier 1903-1915, first BC-born premier, knighted 1912, McBride BC named for him. Block R Plot 77 W R.

William Henry McNeill (1801-1875) - master mariner, HBC steamer S.S. Beaver, HBC chief factor, Port McNeill named for him. Block B Plot 83 W 33.

Charles Edward Pooley (1845-1912) - MLA for Esquimalt 1881-1906, President of the Executive Council during the building of Victoria's Legislative Buildings 1893-1902. Block T Plot 72 E 45.

Joseph Despard Pemberton (1821-1893) - Surveyor-General of Vancouver Island for the HBC 1851-1864, owned Gonzales estate, founded the Victoria firm of J. D. Pemberton and Son 1887, Pemberton, B.C. is named for him. Block B Plot 69 E 34.

Edward Gawler Prior (1853-1920) - MP for Victoria 1888-1901, BC Premier 1902-1903, Lieutenant-Governor of BC 1919-1920. Block B Plot 24 E 32.
